Kia ora, I'm Chrissy. I'm the creator and administrator of this blog.About me: I am a stay-at-home mummy to our 7 month old, Adele and I blog about my life at silverjandals.
Why I'm doing our lenten project: I've been a Christian all my life but in the past few years have struggled with my spiritual journey and have become very lazy about reading the bible and praying.
My lenten project is: To read a bible passage each day, write a reflection and a prayer and publish them on this blog.
I'm hoping that this lent: God will whip me in to shape and lead me to a greater understanding of who he is and what his relationship with this world is. Sounds dangerous!

About me: I'm a second year high school English and Media studies teacher. I enjoy reading.
Why I'm doing our lenten project: I love to collaborate on creative endeavours.
My lenten project is: blog a little on some scriptures, maybe Romans because that’s what church is going to be doing, or maybe a gospel. Probably not every day, maybe once or twice a week.
I'm hoping that this lent: the process of blogging/publishing help me to connect dots between Christ, the Cross, theology, and the art of being human.
